Introduction
The Academy was founded in 1972 by Guru Nanak Academy Society a body registered under Indian Societies Act XXXI of 1860 on the occasion of the five hundredth birth anniversary of Shri Guru Nanak DevJi, Education and instructions are imparted on public school lines and the Academy caters to the academic needs of students from Nursery up to Standard XII.
The Board of Governors of Guru Nanak Academy renders selfless service on honorary basis with utmost devotion and love for the noble cause of education. In 1972 the school got affiliation from the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations, New Delhi, the CISCE, New Delhi is the prestigious All India Board that derived its roots from the Cambridge but now is a fully autonomous body with International recognition hence putting children on the global map through the certificates of ICSE(10) and ISC (12).
